The Ouya Promises, The Newell Hungers

The Ouya console has smashed Kickstarter records, but is the $99 Android console claiming to be a haven for indie developers really going to deliver on its promise? Do the backers really want to subscribe to the same ideals as the Ouya, or are they seeking something different?
The Newell Hungers, as Steam has their massive Summer Sale. 75% off many things, but digital distribution rival EA says that it cheapens intellectual property, even though they are participating. Valve disagrees with their sentiment.
We talk with Skull King about the upcoming PlayStation Home Summer Fest 2012, which VOG will be participating in on Sunday, July 29th.
Then we take calls about the Ouya.

But, you can join the VOG Network group on Steam even after May 15th! Minecraft 360 has broken sales records on Xbox Live Arcade, but announcing that has shown there might have been some preferential treatment. We also talk a little bit about the game (impressions from the demo) and how it is different from the PC version. If you want to buy games on Steam, but don't want to use your credit or debit card, you now have an alternative...And neither side is too happy about it. The Xbox 360 is rumored to get Internet Explorer 9 with Kinect support. Information about the real money auction house in Diablo 3 has been released...And we talk about how much money Blizzard will take in from each successful sale. We don't take many calls because we were recording on Mother's Day, but one person called in just to call, so we talked about The Pirate Bay telling Anonymous to stop censoring other people.
