Interview with Dustin Clingman, IGDA Chariman

This weekend, we were at SIEGE in Atlanta, learning all about video game development in the south.
Our interview this week is with Dustin Clingman, game industry veteran currently with First 5 Games, and the Chairman of the Independent Game Developers Association. He claims that there's still time for optimism in the industry even in the face of all the layoffs and studio closures. We ask him why.
He is backing the Old School RPG Kickstarter by Brenda Braithwhite and Tom Hall.
Our midpoint music break is courtesy of Professor Shyguy, a chiptune pop music artist...It's the first track of his debut album "Geekotica", called "NPC".

But, you can join the VOG Network group on Steam even after May 15th! Minecraft 360 has broken sales records on Xbox Live Arcade, but announcing that has shown there might have been some preferential treatment. We also talk a little bit about the game (impressions from the demo) and how it is different from the PC version. If you want to buy games on Steam, but don't want to use your credit or debit card, you now have an alternative...And neither side is too happy about it. The Xbox 360 is rumored to get Internet Explorer 9 with Kinect support. Information about the real money auction house in Diablo 3 has been released...And we talk about how much money Blizzard will take in from each successful sale. We don't take many calls because we were recording on Mother's Day, but one person called in just to call, so we talked about The Pirate Bay telling Anonymous to stop censoring other people.
