The Bobby Blackwolf Show Episode 374: March 3, 2013

Interview with Ken Allen, Music Composer for Sierra games Space Quest IV and King's Quest V

Ken Allen was one of Sierra's many composers during the heyday of PC adventure games in the early 90's. His work includes Space Quest IV, King's Quest V, and Jones In The Fast Lane. (Which was awesome.) He's also been successfully funded via Kickstarter for his Under The Half Dome album, paying tribute to his previous work with all of today's modern technology. We caught up with him on the road (literally) to talk LIVE about his career then and his career now - from Space Quest to Vulcan Fury to Rift (believe it or not!) all the way to the currently in production SpaceVenture.

Then we take calls about game music, Civilization Revolution (it was on sale), and the indie documentary It's Dangerous To Go Alone, all about the fandom surrounding the 8-bit Legend of Zelda games.

I will be covering MomoCon in Atlanta this weekend, if you're there, say hi!
